Job Summary
Director, Development and Construction Risk responsible for providing in-house construction technical expertise within Development Finance and related areas. Focus includes identifying potential issues early in complex transactions, ensuring key technical construction risks are identified and mitigated, reviewing IMS reports, and supporting monitoring of sanction conditions. Role involves close collaboration with Origination, Portfolio Management, IMS/QS advisory firms, and external stakeholders; site visits across the UK to review construction risk from a technical perspective; strong analytical skills, knowledge of Excel, and ability to communicate with management and advisory committees. Degree-qualified (RICS-accredited) construction professional with experience in residential development and development finance risk management is required; Chartered status is preferred. Required Qualifications
- Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or another RICS accredited construction degree qualification. Chartered status is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
