Job Summary
Design, deploy, and manage DTCC's data protection capabilities, including DLP, classification, labeling, CASB, and AI proxy controls across email, endpoints, cloud, and SaaS platforms. Own the data protection control framework to ensure consistent enforcement of encryption and classification intent while minimizing business friction. Lead enterprise strategy for taxonomy governance and the transition from pattern-only to context-driven enforcement. Provide executive technical direction for tools like Purview, Zscaler, and Proofpoint, and embed secure-by-design controls for new initiatives and cloud migrations. Serve as a trusted advisor to technology and business teams, ensuring data protection meets regulatory and audit expectations. Support internal audits and management reporting on control posture.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience
- Experience owning enterprise-scale data protection capabilities
- Proven success leading multi-platform DLP, classification, and encryption programs
- Demonstrated ability to translate regulatory and policy requirements into precise, enforceable technical controls
- Experience accountable for outcomes, not just strategy or advisory input
- Experience operating in highly regulated environments
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience
- Experience operating in highly regulated environments (financial services strongly preferred)
