Job Summary
Head the Data + ML Platform team and define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for CrowdStrike's Data+ML/GenAI platform. Build and scale a platform for data pipelines, feature stores, and model deployment frameworks; develop and mature ML Ops practices and data governance to support secure, production-grade AI/ML at scale. Lead a distributed team (US and India) to enable data preparation, cataloging, feature engineering, model training, deployment, and monitoring; drive Generative AI investments and bridge model development with operational success. Partner with product, engineering, and data science stakeholders; establish SLI/SLO metrics and observability to ensure reliability and performance. Strong leadership, strategic vision, and hands-on technical expertise in ML and data infrastructure are required.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field and 10+ years related experience; or M.S. with 8+ years of experience; or Ph.D with 6+ years of experience.
- 10+ years experience in data engineering, ML platform development, or related fields with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Familiarity with ML algorithms from an engineering perspective; knowledge of ML platforms/tools (Jupyter Notebooks, NVidia Workbench, MLFlow, Ray, Vertex AI, Frontier AI models, etc.); experience with ML Ops platforms (MLFlow, Kubeflow, SageMaker); experience with data platform tools (Apache Spark, Flink, Kubernetes, Airflow); knowledge of Apache Iceberg a plus; data governance and security practices; interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with stakeholders across teams.
