Job Summary

Director, Data Governance Transformation at Mondelēz International leads enterprise-wide data governance transformation, designing and executing multi-year change/adoption strategies, and embedding governance into business language. Responsibilities include developing governance narratives for diverse audiences from C-suite to operations, engaging senior stakeholders across markets/functions, building sponsorship and accountability, and guiding the EDGE team’s transformation and improvement. The role requires strategic thinking, collaboration across a matrix organization, and capability development, with a focus on making governance practical and value-driven through KPI frameworks, maturity assessments, and evidence-driven reporting. The candidate should have a strong consulting background with experience in transformation, change management, and data/digital strategy, plus experience influencing senior leaders and delivering governance-related outcomes. The position emphasizes external representation in industry forums, horizon scanning for governance practices, and a human-centered approach to governance transformation. The role is based in Bratislava, Slovakia (office), with regular interaction with senior stakeholders across Mondelēz’s global matrix.

Required Qualifications

  • Consulting background essential: Significant experience in a top-tier management consultancy or Big 4 advisory practice, with a focus on transformation, change management, or data/digital strategy.
  • Proven track record driving enterprise-scale transformation and change adoption in complex, matrixed global organizations (FMCG/CPG experience highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated success engaging, influencing, and managing senior stakeholders—including C-suite, regional presidents, and functional leaders—across diverse cultural and organizational contexts.
  • Experience in storytelling, executive communication, and building compelling change narratives.
  • Track record designing KPI frameworks, maturity models, and evidence-driven reporting for senior audiences.
  • Experience supporting team leadership and building high-performing, cross-functional teams.
