Job Summary
Lead the Sales, Customer, and Distribution Data Engineering team in designing, developing, and implementing robust end-to-end data solutions and ML pipelines supporting model delivery, including feature engineering, data preparation, training, testing, and deployment. Govern the productionization of models with established monitoring, implement data validation and governance practices for relevant datasets, and develop analytic data products including pilots and proof of concepts. Execute data strategies aligned with enterprise architecture, manage operational automation for scalable solutions, and present analysis to influence management decisions. Guide and coach team members while establishing processes to support business partners with insights and models.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM related field or equivalent
- Five or more years of related experience
- 3 or more years of management experience
- 2 or more years of experience in the insurance industry
- 3 or more years of experience with AWS Cloud Services & Python
- 3 or more years of experience with Databricks
- 2 or more years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and pipeline development
- Experience with data governance frameworks
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced knowledge of data tools, techniques, and manipulation including cloud platforms, programming languages, and technology platforms
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, related STEM field, or its equivalent in education and/or work experience
- 6 additional years of data engineering experience
