Job Summary
Lead regional design packages, standards, and engineering specifications for Civil, Structural, and Architectural disciplines to ensure consistent project delivery. Oversee the full design lifecycle from feasibility through IFC, coordinating designs with cost plans, schedules, and operational requirements while managing design deliverables tracking and KPI monitoring. Provide subject matter advice, support sales teams during client meetings, and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, and suppliers. Mentor regional engineering teams, drive innovation in BIM and modular construction, and resolve design issues during construction. Requires 15+ years of experience in data center design management, a background in Civil/Structural/Architecture, and 25% expected travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil or structural engineering, architecture or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in design engineering, design management, or related leadership roles within data center or highly serviced building environments
- Proven experience managing the full design lifecycle across complex construction projects
- Experience working with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams across large-scale developments
- Strong knowledge of design coordination, change management, and construction delivery processes
- Commercial awareness with the ability to assess design impacts on cost, schedule, and project performance
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with experience working across regional and cross-cultural teams
- Familiarity with APAC construction markets, and applicable building codes
- Expected travel of 25% of the time
Desired Qualifications

- Experience in the methodology, design, fabrication and installation of modular construction elements
- Strong understanding of data center civil, structural and architectural requirements
- Knowledge in MEP
- Strong understanding of data center civil, structural and architectural requirements, knowledge in MEP is considered an advantage
