Job Summary
Director, CPG Food Categories responsible for leading Paramount’s North American food-category strategy and end-to-end licensing program. The role oversees a portfolio of licensees, drives long-term revenue growth, negotiates complex commercial terms, manages royalty structures and minimum guarantees, coordinates cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Brand Management, Marketing, Product Development) to bring licensed products from concept to shelf, and ensures safety and nutritional standards. Key duties include strategic planning and market expansion for North American food categories, sourcing new partners, managing budgets and revenue forecasts, and ensuring brand integrity across licensed products. Requires 8–12 years in brand licensing/CPG, a bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business, and strong deal-making capabilities; MBA is a plus. The role involves leadership across licensing, retail sell-in support, and collaboration with cross-functional partners to drive commercial excellence.
Required Qualifications
- 8–12 years of professional experience in brand licensing, consumer products, or CPG management
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Proven ability to manage budgets, forecast revenue, and interpret complex financial statements and proposals
- A track record of closing high-value deals with major corporate partners
- Exceptional executive presence with the ability to pitch strategies and present data to senior-level stakeholders
