Job Summary
Lead the enterprise country risk function by managing day-to-day team execution, reviewing analytical outputs, and coordinating activities across jurisdictions and portfolios. Oversee country risk assessments, monitoring of sovereign and geopolitical developments, and limit oversight while supporting regulatory submissions and stress testing. Partner with business lines to align risk perspectives with strategic objectives and act as a delegate for the Head of Country Risk in senior forums. Enhance data, tools, and policies using in-house AI to streamline reporting and governance processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, International Relations, Political Science, Risk Management, or a related field
- Significant experience in country risk, sovereign risk, geopolitical risk, credit risk, portfolio risk, or related risk management disciplines
- Strong knowledge of macroeconomic, sovereign, and geopolitical risk analysis
- Demonstrated ability to review analytical work, manage competing priorities, and lead team execution
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with experience communicating to senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to work across functions and synthesize multiple risk perspectives into clear recommendations
