Job Summary
Director, Cost Reduction leads enterprise-wide cost reduction initiatives across engineering, operations, procurement, and supply chain; develops reporting frameworks and dashboards to monitor savings targets, operational spend, and program performance; identifies cost leakage and opportunities for margin improvement through data analysis and cross-functional reviews; partners with finance leadership to evaluate ROI and cost structures; provides regular executive updates to CFO and senior leadership on savings progress, risks, and corrective actions. Collaborates with CTO and Engineering leadership to evaluate product roadmap implications on cost, scalability, and operational feasibility; drives governance around engineering investments, vendor utilization, and development priorities; supports decision-making balancing innovation goals with financial discipline. Analyzes procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain processes to identify sustainable cost-saving opportunities and improve material utilization, vendor management, inventory efficiency, and production costs; participates in supplier negotiations and cost benchmarking. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, supply chain, operations management, business, or related field (mandatory)
- 12+ years of experience in cost reduction, finance, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or related functions
