Job Summary
Oversee the Corpsmember Support Services department by providing strategic direction, supervising Success Navigators and MSW interns, and managing daily operations including hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, develop individualized care plans, and deliver direct counseling, therapy, and crisis intervention to Corpsmembers while coordinating referrals and follow-up support. Establish and maintain internal and external partnerships with university MSW programs, community stakeholders, and local resources to ensure access to housing, counseling, and educational services. Manage grant compliance, fiscal oversight, and documentation standards while collaborating with Job Training and Charter School staff to promote positive outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work
- A desire to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- 2 years of direct client and/or case management experience in a related field
- Strong leadership and management experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with direct supervision over staff
- Cultural knowledge of key populations that will be served to address disparities in specific services
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate and effectively interact with people across cultures, ranges of ability, genders, ethnicities, and races
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- Clean driving record acceptable to the organization's auto insurance company
- Must possess and continue to maintain a valid California Class C driver's license
- Must have a clean driving record acceptable to the organization's auto insurance company
- Must submit a copy of their DMV driver's record as a condition of hire
- Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to start date
- Must have an approved medical or religious exemption for COVID-19 vaccination if not vaccinated
