Job Summary
Director, Corporate Strategy leads end-to-end delivery of complex corporate strategy projects in a matrixed environment, partnering with Commercial, Product, Tech, and Functional teams to craft and align on business, segment, or function strategies. The role requires translating market dynamics into actionable strategies, conducting in-depth market and competitive analyses, driving cross-functional collaboration, and influencing stakeholders across levels, including Executives. The position reports to the SVP, Head of Strategy and Planning, carries ~20-30% travel (primarily to Portland, ME), and sits within the Chief Strategy Officer organization. Requires MBA or equivalent advanced degree with 10+ years of experience (including 6+ years in strategy consulting or similar), strong financial acumen, and proficiency in building financial models; experience with AI tools to drive efficiency is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree in business, economics, or a technical field
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- 6+ years in Strategy Consulting, corporate strategy, or similar role
- Analytical problem-solver with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience influencing C-Suite executives
- Experience with financial modeling and scenario planning
- Experience in B2B payments, mobility, or related fields (preferred)
- MBA post-MBA experience (preferred)
