Job Summary

Design and implement a comprehensive corporate philanthropy and partnerships strategy aligned with GBH's institutional priorities and revenue goals. Build the corporate partnerships function, including infrastructure, processes, and cross-functional alignment with Development, Sponsorship/Enterprise, Marketing, and Content teams. Develop and manage a portfolio of 50–75 high-value corporate prospects and partners capable of six- and seven-figure annual commitments, securing funding across corporate foundation grants, direct donations, and employee matching programs. Cultivate and steward C-suite relationships across healthcare, financial services, technology, and retail sectors while designing customized proposals that balance corporate expectations with public media editorial integrity. Lead a small, high-performing team to foster an entrepreneurial culture within the Development Division.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 10–15 years of relevant experience in corporate partnerships, corporate philanthropy, business development, or nonprofit fundraising
  • Progressively senior leadership responsibility
  • Demonstrated success in securing and managing six- and seven-figure corporate partnerships or philanthropic gifts
  • Strong network of corporate contacts, ideally within Boston/New England and across key national industries
  • Proven ability to design and launch new initiatives or programs within a complex organization
  • Hybrid position

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong initiative, creativity, and resilience
