Job Summary
Proactively identify and cultivate new corporate partnership opportunities at local, regional, and national levels, developing customized, ROI-driven proposals tailored to prospective partner objectives. Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closing, while maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified prospects to consistently meet or exceed individual revenue targets. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop innovative partnership platforms and activation concepts, ensuring seamless handoff to the activation team post-sale to support long-term partner success. Represent the Nationals brand with professionalism in external meetings, events, and hospitality settings while staying current on industry trends and competitive landscapes. This role requires presence in a dynamic, crowded outdoor sports venue with flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must successfully clear a background check
- Must have U.S. work authorization
- 6 year(s) of experience leading sports sponsorships or high-level B2B sales
- Bachelors or better
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- CRM experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working independently
- Strong business acumen and understanding of marketing principles
