Job Summary
Director, Corporate Partnership Development for the Cleveland WNBA, responsible for driving revenue through innovative and strategic execution; prospecting new business clients, delivering compelling presentations using Cleveland WNBA marketing elements across digital and linear media, managing CRM to track progress, nurturing relationships with current and prospective clients, achieving personal sales goals, coordinating contract and billing processes, and meeting deadlines in a high-performance sports-industry environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications or marketing
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in the major league sports industry and an established book of business and relevant contacts
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Solid understanding of digital sales and revenue cultivation through content
- Available to work Arena events and future Cleveland WNBA home games
- Proficient in sales strategy, cultivation and negotiation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce and other related computer skills
