Job Summary
Lead sourcing, development, and recommendation of high-quality Corporate Financing transactions while acting as a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs; build and manage client and influencer relationships to grow BDC Corporate Financing assets; develop and execute marketing and business development plans; conduct due diligence and present proposals to the Corporate Financing Underwriting Group; drive growth in loan portfolios with a focus on profitability and risk management. Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor in Commerce/Finance/Business Administration with accounting emphasis, strong analytical and strategic thinking, ability to sell financial services to demanding clients, independent work style, excellent organization, and bilingual English/French. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Bilingualism in English and French is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor in Commerce or Finance or Business Administration with a major in accounting
- 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Analytical business sense and strategic thinking
- Ability to sell financial services to demanding and sophisticated clients
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Highly organized and proactive
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Bilingualism in English and French
