Job Summary
Lead due diligence activities and structure and negotiate commercial relationships between Amp and its business partners. Support the CFO on strategic finance initiatives, including financial modeling for M&A, joint ventures, and project development. Collaborate with project managers, legal, operations, and senior leadership to identify, assess, and prioritize growth opportunities while developing competitor and industry trend analyses. Act as a liaison across departments to implement strategy and support overall organizational growth. Provide quarterly updates on acquisition plans and capital markets activities to fund initiatives. This role requires 10 years of finance experience and is located in Chicago, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a diploma in a related field from a top-tier university
- 10 years of related business, finance, or investment banking experience
- Exceptional attention to detail, and talent for accuracy and precision
- Strong quantitative data analysis skills, including advanced Excel modeling skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills, including advanced PowerPoint skills
- Passion for and track record of delivering results and problem solving
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain trusting relationships internally and externally
- Ability to work independently to organize, plan, coordinate, and manage multiple work streams simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills in delegation, negotiation, communication, and consensus building to meet management's objectives
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to research and understand legal and financial implications
- Interest in alternative energy and/or renewable fuels
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in finance or business administration from a top-tier university
- Experienced in structuring and negotiating debt agreements, including project finance debt
- Experience with using AI for finance, coding with Python, using or creating RAG frameworks
- Deal structuring experience
- Excellent understanding of Amp Americas' industry, customers, and providers
