Director, Corporate Counsel – Healthcare Operations, Risk, and Professional Licensure (Behavioral Health)

Senior in-house counsel role focusing on healthcare operations, risk management, internal investigations, and licensure compliance. Provides day-to-day legal guidance on professional licensure requirements for clinical staff (including BCBAs and RBTs), risk mitigation, management of professional liability claims, coordination with outside counsel, and regulatory responses. Collaborates with People Services, Compliance, clinical leadership, and operational leadership. Responsibilities include supporting internal investigations, reviewing healthcare laws and regulations, credentialing and provider enrollment matters, advising on licensure and facility licensure issues, drafting policies and training materials, monitoring regulatory developments, and managing outside counsel on licensure or regulatory matters. Requires JD, active license, and at least 5 years of relevant experience; Texas licensure preferred; remote/hybrid work environment with occasional travel; compensation $130K-$180K.
