Director, Corporate Controller

Job Summary
Lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP while owning the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Prepare and review financial statements, develop internal controls, and support external audits and tax compliance. Oversee payroll, accounts payable, revenue accounting, fixed assets, cash accounting, and general ledger operations. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial workflows, implement systems, and drive automation across accounting operations. Lead and mentor the finance team, establishing goals and fostering a culture of operational excellence. Collaborate with the CFO on strategy, financial planning, and special projects to ensure scalable internal controls for a fast-moving AI-native business.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- leadership experience
- Experience serving as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior accounting leader
- in a high-growth technology or SaaS company
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- revenue recognition (ASC 606)
- Experience managing month-end close

Desired Qualifications
- CPA strongly preferred
- Public accounting background (Big Four or national firm)
- Experience with SaaS subscription revenue
