Job Summary
Develop and execute integrated corporate communications strategies aligned with company priorities, pipeline milestones, and brand positioning. Translate complex scientific and clinical information into accessible messaging for diverse internal and external stakeholders, including drafting press releases, managing media relations, and supporting executive visibility. Own corporate LinkedIn and website content strategies while partnering cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Legal, and Investor Relations to ensure compliant alignment. Lead internal communications, including town halls and employee engagement initiatives, and support crisis planning and reputational risk management. Based in Parsippany, New Jersey, this role requires regular onsite presence and up to 10% domestic travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field
- 5–8+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, healthcare communications, or related field
- experience within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences company
- Proven experience supporting corporate reputation, executive communications, media relations, and internal communications initiatives
- Experience translating complex scientific and clinical information into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences
- Experience working in a publicly traded company
- familiarity with the heightened disclosure, accuracy, and review standards that apply to public company communications
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Legal, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, HR, Commercial, and Executive Leadership teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, collaboration platforms, media monitoring tools, and digital communication channels
- Ability to independently develop high quality, polished PowerPoint presentations with structured flow
- Experience supporting commercial biotechnology/pharmaceutical organizations
- This role is based in Parsippany, New Jersey
- requires in-person attendance at the corporate headquarters during designated in-office days
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10% as needed for business meetings, industry conferences, and company events
