Director, Corporate Business Development (Infectious Disease)

Director of Corporate Business Development (Infectious Disease) leading partnerships to expand ONT’s presence in clinical diagnostics, public health, and applied infectious disease markets. The role focuses on building and leading externally facing partnerships to enable development and commercialisation of nanopore sequencing applications, structuring deals, and bringing partnerships to life that deliver long-term value. Responsibilities include defining partnership strategy across infectious disease markets, identifying strategic partners, structuring and negotiating commercial partnerships, building business cases and financial models, working cross-functionally to move deals from concept through execution, leading negotiations, and developing a deep understanding of market dynamics, use cases, and commercial models in infectious disease. A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to operate across senior leadership and cross-functional teams are required to support growth and development of the BD team in a fast-paced environment.
