Job Summary
Develop and lead a comprehensive enterprise-level communications strategy that aligns with corporate vision, ensuring consistent messaging across all internal and external platforms. Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and CFO on communications matters, managing media relations, public relations, and executive visibility while acting as the primary spokesperson for the organization. Design and maintain crisis communications frameworks, including playbooks and escalation protocols, to coordinate swift, unified responses during high-stakes reputational threats. Oversee corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and government affairs, building coalitions with policymakers and monitoring policy changes. Lead corporate sustainability initiatives, annual philanthropic efforts, and community partnerships to strengthen the company's global impact. Manage a team of approximately five direct reports, providing ongoing performance coaching and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, investor relations, or public relations
- Proven track record of leading integrated communications strategies at the executive level
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience managing high-stakes communications, including crisis and reputation management
- Experience interfacing with media, investors, and community leaders
- Demonstrated track record of leadership and team development
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
