Job Summary
The Director, Corporate Accounting will manage all aspects of month-end close for core financial statement areas, optimize accounting and financial reporting processes, and oversee the accounts payable function. Responsibilities include driving improvements in financial processes, enforcing accounting policies, partnering in ERP system selection and implementation, ensuring strong internal controls, and mentoring a high-performing team. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, an active CPA, and over 10 years of relevant experience in accounting operations leadership, particularly in a public company context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Active CPA license in good standing
- 10+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding and application of US GAAP
- Experience with ERP implementation
- Knowledge of AP and T&E systems
- Strong knowledge and experience in designing, implementing and operating internal controls
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Big 4 experience
- Prior experience in fintech, financial services, or a regulated industry
