Job Summary
Director leads enterprise-wide continuous improvement and business transformation initiatives to drive operational excellence, scalability, and profitable growth. The role evolves traditional CI into a cross-functional transformation engine spanning supply chain, commercial operations, and enabling systems. Manages a small high-impact team and partners with executive leadership to translate strategy into execution through structured problem solving, performance management, and digital enablement. Responsibilities include designing and deploying a standardized CI framework (Hoshin Kanri, Lean, Six Sigma, A3, Kaizen), scaling visual daily management and KPI dashboards, facilitating enterprise Kaizen events, executing strategic projects aligned with the deployment plan, developing a training strategy to optimize lean processes, training and coaching employees, planning and executing Hoshin Kanri policy deployment and Kaizen workshops, and developing transformation roadmaps with milestones, ownership, and financial impact. Also focuses on fostering accountability and a culture of continuous improvement across facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or business transformation
- Proficiency in Change Management methodologies to overcome people's resistance to change
- Proficiency in analyzing data to drive action
- Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies such as Hoshin Kanri, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and DMAIC
- Strong working knowledge in statistical process control, error proofing, value stream mapping, visual management techniques, and failure mode and effects analysis
