Job Summary
Director of Consumer Engagement for MED-EL US leading the Consumer Engagement team, shaping the candidate-facing message and aligning with Regional Directors and Sales leadership to drive performance and develop talent. Responsibilities include providing leadership to the Engagement team, supervising Area Managers, participating in sales training, developing plans to support new product lines and systems, training and reinforcing sales tools and engagement strategies, collaborating with Sales and Education leaders on sales processes, maintaining performance metrics, participating in product launches, managing the Engagement Program budget, mentoring the team, and representing MED-EL in leadership discussions. Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing or related field, 8–10 years in healthcare sales/marketing/customer engagement leadership, 3–5 years leading a consumer team in healthcare, strong communications, IT literacy, and the ability to travel ~50% with a remote work configuration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in marketing or hearing health
- 8–10 years in Healthcare Industry – sales, marketing, customer engagement leadership experience
- 3–5 years leading a Consumer Team in Healthcare Industry (Experience in Hearing Health a plus)
- IT (computer, internet, phone, etc.) literacy including Outlook
- Located near a major US airport
- Travel expectations of 50% - including some weekend travel
