Job Summary
Supervise construction management, planning, scheduling, project execution, and cost management for wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects. Review, execute, and approve construction projects by developing timelines, identifying pinch points, and coordinating with vendors, the design team, and third-party contractors. Manage project budgets, track change orders, and inspect sites to ensure conformance with specifications, contracts, and schedules. Prepare weekly and monthly status reports, present to executive leadership, and maintain accurate records in the project document management system. Collaborate with procurement to screen vendors and ensure all permits and insurance requirements are met.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
- 15+ years of progressive construction experience required
- Experience with construction wind energy projects and/or PV Solar & BESS energy projects
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent efforts and provide high quality deliverables accurately and on time
- Experience in supervising and/or managing direct reports including hiring, annual reviews, delivering constructive feedback and directing work of others
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external customers
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications including performing financial and analytical computations in Excel
- Detail oriented and adaptable to changing working requirements
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment that emphasizes attention to detail, meeting deadlines and working together to achieve company-wide goals
- Demonstrated 'can do' attitude in embracing company goals and initiatives
