Job Summary
Supervise construction management, planning, scheduling, and cost execution for wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects. Review and approve project plans, manage third-party contractors, and coordinate with design teams and vendors to mitigate delays. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications, budgets, and schedules while initiating necessary repairs or adjustments. Prepare weekly and monthly status reports, manage project budgets, and review invoices in adherence to Clearway procedures. Maintain accurate project records in the document management system and interface with authorities having jurisdiction regarding site requirements. This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Construction within Clearway Energy Group, a leader in the clean energy transition. The position requires a hybrid schedule and offers a salary range of $190,000–$214,000 USD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
- 15+ years of progressive construction experience required
- Experience with construction wind energy projects and/or PV Solar & BESS energy projects
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent efforts and provide high quality deliverables accurately and on time
- Experience in supervising and/or managing direct reports including hiring, annual reviews, delivering constructive feedback and directing work of others
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external customers
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications including performing financial and analytical computations in Excel
- Detail oriented and adaptable to changing working requirements
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment that emphasizes attention to detail, meeting deadlines and working together to achieve company-wide goals
- Demonstrated 'can do' attitude in embracing company goals and initiatives
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
