Job Summary
Supervise construction management, planning, scheduling, project execution, and cost management by reviewing, executing, and approving projects efficiently. Connect with stakeholders, vendors, and the design team to develop timelines, identify pinch points, and secure resources to avoid delays. Develop project execution plans for third-party construction, manage budgets, and track change orders while ensuring compliance with contracts and specifications. Inspect properties regularly, approve invoices, and maintain accurate records in the project document management system. Provide weekly and monthly status reports to leadership, manage direct reports, and coordinate with AHJs and procurement to ensure timely project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
- 15+ years of progressive construction experience
- Experience with construction wind energy projects and/or PV Solar & BESS energy projects
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent efforts and provide high quality deliverables accurately and on time
- Experience in supervising and/or managing direct reports including hiring, annual reviews, delivering constructive feedback and directing work of others
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external customers
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications including performing financial and analytical computations in Excel
- Detail oriented and adaptable to changing working requirements
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment that emphasizes attention to detail, meeting deadlines and working together to achieve company-wide goals
- Demonstrated 'can do' attitude in embracing company goals and initiatives
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
