Job Summary
The Director of Construction will lead regional construction engagements, guiding projects from initial client meetings to final closeouts within the Food, Beverage, Life Science, and Home and Personal Care Markets. Responsible for client satisfaction, budget adherence, quality standards, and safety compliance, the role demands proficient management of construction activities, mentoring team members, and overseeing project financials. Candidates should possess extensive experience in complex construction roles, leadership skills, and be adept in construction project management software. A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years in diverse construction roles
- 8+ years in construction management
- Proven ability to lead complex industrial construction projects end-to-end
- Experience managing industrial projects valued between $50K and $50M
- Familiarity with process systems and proficiency in reading P&IDs
- Experience implementing comprehensive safety programs and monitoring jobsite safety programs
- Technologically savvy and quick to learn project management software
Desired Qualifications
- Construction project management certification (preferred)
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Timberline, AutoCAD, or Revit
