Job Summary
Director, Conferences Operations (Process Improvement and Engagement) leads two teams: Process Improvement & Operations and Associate Engagement & Development, shaping operational strategies to enhance conference delivery, drive efficiencies, and support business objectives. Responsible for budgets and financial management of large events, forecasting and budget writing, and investments. Designs and oversees programs to engage, develop, and retain associates, ensuring a motivated, high-performing team. Develops processes and metrics to monitor performance, providing actionable insights to senior leadership. Mentors and develops staff, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement, with collaboration across cross-functional stakeholders. Requires Bachelor's degree and 10-12+ years in event, sponsorship, or conference operations, plus proven leadership, project management, and analytical capabilities.
