Job Summary
Lead compensation strategy and advisory work for Go to Market businesses across Legal, Tax, Audit, Accounting, Corporates, Marketing, and Print. Own regional cross-business compensation matters for North America, ensuring consistency, market competitiveness, and regulatory compliance. Oversee the Annual Compensation Process, including data readiness, set-up, validation, and stakeholder support. Develop and maintain pay ranges and incentive structures for sales and go-to-market roles while governing compensation change activity in Workday. Drive insight and compliance by partnering with analysts to specify models, advise on evolving North American regulations, and support M&A transitions. This role reports to the Vice President of Compensation and collaborates with global peers and the Design & Analytics team.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive compensation experience with a sales and marketing focus
- Typically 10+ years in compensation/reward roles
- significant experience designing and managing compensation and incentive programs for sales, marketing, and associated go-to-market functions
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- North American regulatory expertise
- Proven experience managing compensation across US and Canadian legal and regulatory frameworks
- confidence advising on policy and compliance considerations
- Comfortable operating with significant autonomy in a hybrid environment
- Collaborating with colleagues across multiple business lines, functions, and time zones
- demonstrated engagement with business strategy to inform compensation management
- Skilled at listening, influencing, and explaining complex compensation topics to commercial and HR leaders
- Track record of simplifying, automating, and streamlining compensation processes
- experience developing and delivering AI-enabled solutions
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in SaaS or a similar technology environment
- designing sales incentive plans, quota-setting frameworks, or go-to-market compensation structures
- Demonstrated strong quantitative skills
- advanced Excel capability
- ideally actively engaged in the use of AI tools to support compensation work
- ability to translate data into clear, practical and creative recommendations for technical leaders
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Track record of simplifying, automating, and streamlining compensation processes
- experience developing and delivering AI-enabled solutions is a distinct advantage
