Job Summary
Director, Compensation role leading design, governance, and improvement of broad-based, executive, and variable compensation programs across Cornerstone Building Brands. Responsible for market benchmarking, pay equity analyses, governance (job architecture, policies), analytics-driven decision making, and providing executive-level guidance on base pay, incentive plans, and retention initiatives. Partners with HR, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and executives; develops executive communications and materials for the Compensation Committee and Board; ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with financial goals. Oversees severance programs and enterprise-wide compensation initiatives, and leads a high-performing compensation team in a matrixed environment. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, 8+ years in compensation with leadership experience, and CCP designation preferred; salary range is $180,000-$200,000 with full-time benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in compensation, with at least 4 years leading a high-performing team
- Experience in the design, development, and implementation of pay plans including Short-Term Incentives, Long-Term Incentives, Sales Incentive Plan, and Hourly Incentive Plans
- Strong knowledge of compensation and human resources practices, processes, and standards
- Experience in a matrixed business undergoing transformation
- Advanced proficiency with analytical tools and software packages
- CCP designation preferred
