Job Summary
Provide program oversight for the Community Development division and execute strategic direction while making recommendations to the Superintendent. Develop partnerships with community entities to build capacity for individuals with developmental disabilities. Manage and supervise staff, including the Workforce Development Division and the Employment Collaborative of Cuyahoga County. Oversee RFP agreements with community partners, monitor compliance, and analyze survey data. Plan family engagement events and volunteer initiatives, including the volunteer guardian program. Manage advocacy initiatives, resource management, and voter engagement. Supervise the Good Life Ambassador and Leadership Council programs. Coordinate community requests for presentations and maintain a presentation database. Oversee the Online Resource Guide to Inclusive Jobs, Events, and Places. Work a hybrid schedule onsite at the Donzella Administration building.
Required Qualifications
- Masters' Degree in Special Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum seven years' experience in working with persons with DD
- Minimum three years' supervisory experience
- Valid state of Ohio driver's license and continued maintenance of excellent driving record
- Remote Work: There is an onsite expectation for all leadership positions
- This position will work a hybrid work schedule that includes some remote work at the direction of the Superintendent
