Job Summary
Director in Commercial Tax Services responsible for reviewing tax returns, workpapers and tax projections; provide consulting, planning and compliance for clients; oversee day-to-day needs of clients and tax return process; coordinate with partners to ensure timely and effective planning of projects; support business development activities; coach, mentor, and train staff; maintain knowledge of new tax issues and industry trends; proficient with tax software including CCH Axcess, SurePrep, BNA Income Tax Planner, CCH AnswerConnect, RIA Checkpoint, XCM and Microsoft Office; located in Florham Park, NJ with hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Master’s in taxation preferred
- CPA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive public accounting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with CCH Axcess, Sureprep, BNA Income Tax Planner, CCH AnswerConnect, RIA Checkpoint, XCM and Microsoft Office
- Capable of managing multiple client engagements
- A track record of building and sustaining client relationships and high-quality client service
