Job Summary
Lead integrated thought leadership and demand generation programs in Japan across email, digital advertising, social media, and paid content platforms. Plan and execute brand experiences for hosted industry events, online activations, and client engagement initiatives while localizing campaigns, content, and sales materials into Japanese. Build partnerships with industry associations, academic institutions, and key influencers, then partner cross-functionally with sales, product, research, and global teams to deliver high-impact campaigns. Measure, quantify, and communicate marketing impact to optimize results and return on investment. Coach and mentor junior team members to foster a high-performance environment. This senior role shapes Aladdin's position in the Japanese market, driving growth by aligning strategy with commercial outcomes across BlackRock's technology platform.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus in financial services, private markets, technology, or Business-to-Business (B2B) environments
- Native or near-native proficiency in both Japanese and English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns and translating performance insights into measurable commercial impact
- Experience leading marketing strategy and execution for the Japanese market
- Strong understanding of Japanese business culture and communication practices
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and business leaders across complex, matrixed organizations
- Proven project management capabilities
