Job Summary
Oversee the operation of the Commercial Accounts Department by setting direction, coordinating with claims and finance, and implementing quality control reviews to ensure excellent customer service. Supervise and direct personnel through training, performance appraisals, and mentorship while managing hiring, onboarding, and salary recommendations. Analyze renewal and retention trends to drive financial impact on NEE goals, assign accounts and workloads, and handle high-complexity commercial accounts and new business development. Provide technical expertise on risk identification and coverage, manage premium collections, and foster a collaborative team culture aligned with company strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Seven to ten years commercial lines insurance experience
- Three to five years department leadership and supervisory experience
- Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets
- Producer's license
- Experience with agency management systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Dependable, energetic, and hard-working
- Efficient time management
- High school or equivalent
