Job Summary
Director-level leadership in Commercial FP&A overseeing Deal Desk operations and contribution-margin expansion, partnering with GTM leadership and Partnerships to drive pricing, governance, and financial health across a SaaS business. Role emphasizes AI-enabled transformation of FP&A processes, scenario planning, headcount/resource allocation, and delivering strategic financial guidance to executives while ensuring alignment with ARR growth and margin objectives. Travel to in-office events in Mississauga and Salt Lake City is expected for remote/hybrid arrangements, with ongoing collaboration across Finance and Revenue Ops.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required
- 10–12+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or equivalent roles
- minimum 5 years in a technology or SaaS business
- meaningful experience across commercial topics (deal structure, contracting, pricing) and with GTM functions
- experience with AI transformation in finance workflows is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate complex financial topics to executive/C-suite audiences
- deep financial modelling expertise including deal structuring, scenario analysis, and contribution margin frameworks in SaaS
- track record of delivering measurable commercial outcomes (improved deal economics, GTM cost efficiency, margin expansion) in a high-growth environment
- advanced understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, Rule of 40) and financial accounting practices
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CPA/CFA is an asset
