Job Summary

Liaise between GCSC Planning and China/Asia Development Teams to equip Planning Leads with data, scenarios, and judgements for strategy discussions with Global Clinical Teams. Develop best practices and leading indicators for planning and execution in China and the APAC region while providing boots-on-the-ground perspectives and troubleshooting. Lead operational feasibility assessments, scenario analysis, and risk mitigation for clinical protocols, advising global CMC and Clinical Sub teams on IMP management. Address stakeholder requirements from Clinical Operations, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Procurement, and provide input into Interactive Response Technology design. Interface with QA/QP personnel to facilitate IMP shipment and coordinate cross-border supply strategies with the Logistics function. Full-time role based in Shanghai or Beijing, China. Requires 8-12 years of pharmaceutical industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in Clinical Supply Chain. Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is essential.

Required Qualifications

  • 8-12 years relevant Pharmaceutical Industry and/or Contract Provider experience

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proactive management of multiple tasks of varied complexity simultaneously
  • Expert understanding of clinical supply unit operations within planning and operations

  • Strong technical background with GMP, GDP (Good Documentation Practice) experience
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese
  • fluent written and spoken Mandarin

  • Ability to balance enterprise perspective with study and project-level deliverables

  • Ability to work effectively with decentralized teams
