Job Summary

Senior Director - Clinical Research Scientist to lead early-phase gene editing trials for cardiovascular disease. Responsible for developing and executing global clinical development strategy and early phase plans, authoring and coordinating clinical trial protocols, coordinating investigator identification and site strategy, overseeing worldwide trials with accountability for execution, quality, and timelines, reviewing risk profiles and consent documents to ensure patient safety, guiding biomarker strategies, translating trial data into program decisions, and providing scientific leadership in cross-functional settings. Includes oversight of safety reviews, training investigators, supporting regulatory submissions, and disseminating scientific findings. Travel 10-15%. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of pharmaceutical experience; advanced degrees and cross-functional leadership experience are strongly preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a health, medical, or scientific field
  • 12+ years of pharmaceutical experience with contributions to drug/clinical development fields (epidemiology, toxicology, pharmacology, regulatory affairs, or medical affairs)
