Job Summary
Lead the clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics strategy for a portfolio of oncology and rare disease programs. Act as the Clinical Pharmacology lead for regulatory interactions, design Phase 1-3 studies, and provide pharmacology input for regulatory documents (IBs, INDs, NDAs). Represent health authorities in meetings and drive cross-functional collaboration with translational modeling, DMPK, toxicology, and clinical study teams. Oversee modeling and simulation (PK, PK-PD, exposure-safety) using WinNonlin, NONMEM, Monolix, and R to support dose selection and decision-making. Preferred oncology experience; working location options include London, Oxford, New York, or Salt Lake City with on-site visits for remote work. Requires advanced degrees (Ph.D./MD/PharmD) and 5-9+ years in biotech/pharmaceutical drug development. The role sits within Recursion’s Development Sciences team and involves regulatory interactions, cross-functional leadership, and a fast-paced, impact-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacokinetics or related discipline, M.D with a Clinical Pharmacology expertise, or a Pharm D. with a Clinical Pharmacology fellowship, with 5-9+ years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical drug development.
