Director, Clinical Operations

Job Summary
Administer laboratory division operations, managing human resources, billing, business planning, and strategic projects. Develop performance measurement tools, analyze production data to meet revenue goals, and coordinate technical product development with sales, marketing, and finance teams. Provide financial justification for product definitions and communicate development stages to executive management. Manage project sponsorship and resource allocation while mentoring personnel and developing succession plans. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in an onsite role at HNL Lab Medicine, a leading provider of laboratory services in Pennsylvania.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years in a leadership position
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
- Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Experience with Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Word and Excel), email and database software
- Understands basic business concepts such as revenue cycle and revenue generation, profitability, resource optimization, sales and client management
