Job Summary
Spearhead the development and implementation of clinical education programs that align with the Nursing Strategic Plan and The Joint Commission standards. Lead the dissemination of scientific findings to support evidence-based practices and conduct needs assessments to address patient population needs. Oversee Nursing Center of Excellence components including Shared Governance and Clinical Ladder programs while managing departmental resources, staffing, and budget to improve clinical practice. Collaborate with the leadership team to foster stakeholder engagement and escalate issues to governance committees as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire
- 5 years in nursing
- 3 years in a hospital setting
- Advanced clinical nursing skills
- Theoretical knowledge
- Scientific approach to patient outcome analysis
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Proficiency in computer skills for presenting findings
- Expertise in regulatory requirements to integrate into patient care delivery systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and administrators
Desired Qualifications
- Ph.D.
