Job Summary
Director, Client Analytics leads a geographically distributed analytics team to define and execute analytics strategy for healthcare payer/partner programs, translating complex data into executive-ready insights and decisions. Responsibilities span developing and delivering standard and ad-hoc analyses across medical economics, membership, and specialty analytics; guiding the analytics strategy tied to MCAP Gain Share; mentoring a high-performing team; and driving scalable analytics capabilities and automated data products. Required skills include advanced healthcare analytics, SQL/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAS, Python, R), ability to communicate with executive stakeholders, and experience with Agile project delivery. The role emphasizes improving financial and clinical performance, risk-score assets, and data-driven narratives to inform strategy and drive operational and clinical improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, consulting, or related fields
- 1+ year in a leadership or people-management role
- Hands-on experience with payer data sources including claims, membership, pharmacy, and UM/CM datasets
- Strong technical proficiency with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, SAS, Python, R, or similar tools
- Deep understanding of medical economics concepts and experience identifying cost-of-care optimization opportunities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and influence executive stakeholders
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and guide teams through change
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or similar project delivery methodologies
