Job Summary
Director, China Strategic Management leads development and refinement of Prudential’s overall China business strategy, translating macroeconomic, regulatory, and market dynamics into strategic implications for the Group. Oversees execution of major strategic initiatives, performance reviews, and stakeholder engagement at the Group and Board level. Drives data-driven decision-making, governance, and cross-functional leadership to shape China’s growth trajectory. Requires senior-level communication, strategic thinking, and strong ability to influence outcomes in a highly regulated environment. Mandarin proficiency and a Bachelor’s degree are required; 10+ years of relevant experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and above required
- Mandarin speaking capability
- 10+ years of professional experience in financial services or insurance
- Prior experience in insurance strategy, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate development preferred
