Job Summary
The Director will manage school staff by planning work schedules, evaluating performance, and developing improvement plans. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with licensing standards, maintaining a caring and safe environment for children, and promoting the positive image of the company. The role requires accountability for school operations, staff recruitment and retention, and achieving profitability, along with the desire to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply
- Willingness to attain state mandated Director requirements
- 1-2 years supervisory/management experience of at least six non-exempt associates
- Experience in early childhood education strongly preferred
Desired Qualifications
- CDA certification
- Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
