Job Summary
Director, Change Management role responsible for leading enterprise-wide change management practices enabling adoption of strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and business capability changes across Manulife Japan. Partners with Business Leaders, Product Management, Value Stream Leaders, Portfolio Management, Technology, and Adoption teams to ensure organizational readiness, stakeholder alignment, capability uplift, and sustainable realization of business outcomes. Defines and improves the enterprise change management framework, governance, and standards; advises executives on risks and mitigation; supports transformation programs including Product Operating Model adoption and the Continuous Delivery Framework (CDF) with Agile/SAFe, AI, and Digital Transformation initiatives. Leads readiness assessments, develops adoption strategies, and monitors adoption metrics; drives executive alignment, communication, and learning programs; builds change management capabilities and coaches leaders; oversees change portfolio, prioritizes interventions, and ensures linkage between strategic objectives, OKRs, KPIs, and transformation outcomes. Preferred qualifications include Insurance/Financial Services experience and change management certifications (e.g., Prosci, APMG, CCMP). Working arrangement: Hybrid.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in Change Management, Transformation, Strategy Execution, or Organizational Development
- 5+ years leading enterprise-scale transformations
- Experience with executive leadership teams and cross-functional programs
- Change Management methodologies, Agile/SAFe, Product Operating Model, OKR/KPI frameworks
- Strategic thinking, influencing, executive presence, systems thinking, change leadership
