Job Summary

Director will shape and execute the Center’s Washington, DC programmatic work, designing and implementing high-quality programs (seminars, briefings, fellowships, convenings), cultivating relationships with policymakers and Jewish communal leaders, and ensuring impact aligned with the Institute’s mission. Collaborates with faculty to develop curricula bringing Jewish ethical perspectives into contemporary policy conversations; prepares materials and session structures for diverse audiences; represents the Center in meetings and external engagements; coordinates across North America and Israel; manages program logistics, timelines, and reporting; and travels domestically and to Israel as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of relevant professional experience in program management, public policy, Jewish communal work, or a related field
  • Familiarity with the Washington, DC policy landscape and key stakeholder communities
  • Demonstrated experience designing and executing complex programs or initiatives
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to think strategically while also executing effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and openness to engaging deeply with Jewish thought and the Institute’s educational approach
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
  • Flexibility, sound judgment, and the ability to manage shifting priorities
  • Willingness to travel domestically and to Israel as needed
  • BA/BS or equivalent.
