Job Summary
Coordinate peer-to-peer calls with medical insurance payers and Physician Advisors, updating activity status within the Physician Advisory Portal. Maintain client and contact records across internal systems while coordinating communication via phone, email, and virtual meetings. Support new Physician Advisor onboarding through documentation, equipment coordination, and training logistics. Provide operational support for remote advisors, including EMR access setup and troubleshooting, and manage administrative communications, mail processing, and expense reporting. Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders to support data collection, reporting, and special projects. Adhere strictly to HIPAA standards and information security policies when handling protected health information.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of administrative experience
- 1-2 years of medical terminology knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Adept at using standard computer hardware, email, and internet resources
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess a smart-phone or electronic device capable of downloading applications, for multifactor authentication and security purposes
