Job Summary
Director - Capture & Proposal leads the full capture and proposal lifecycle across Federal Health IT, DHS, Civilian, and DoD markets, partnering with senior leadership to drive opportunity identification, pre-RFP shaping, solutioning, and compliant, high-quality submissions. The role combines strategy and execution in a hybrid schedule, requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, SMEs, pricing, contracts, and operational leadership, and emphasizes AI-enabled proposal operations, teaming, and executive engagement in a fast-paced federal contracting environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Government, English, Technical Writing, or a related discipline
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in federal capture management, proposal management, business development, and/or strategic growth within the federal contracting industry
- Demonstrated experience leading and supporting competitive federal pursuits across Federal Health IT, DHS, Civilian, and DoD markets
- Proven success managing the full capture and proposal lifecycle, including opportunity qualification, pre-RFP shaping, solutioning, proposal development, and contract award
- Strong knowledge of federal acquisition and procurement processes, including FAR-based solicitations, IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, and task order competitions
- Exceptional proposal writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into compelling, evaluator-focused content
- Experience leading cross-functional proposal teams, coordinating SMEs and partners, and driving compliant, high-quality proposal submissions under tight deadlines
- Strategic thinker with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance preferred
