Job Summary
Director, Capital Markets role leading and developing a global Capital Markets team (3–4 professionals) to manage liquidity, external financing, and capital allocation within a high-yield credit environment. Responsible for overseeing daily liquidity, debt issuance, covenants, hedging strategies, pension reporting, and disclosures (10-Q/10-K). Partners with Accounting, Legal, FP&A, IR, and external lenders; serves as primary relationship owner for banks and credit rating agencies; supports M&A and strategic transactions; provides dividend policy input and cash-flow forecasting; requires ownership and accountability, with strong communication to senior leadership and governance bodies. Requires a Bachelor’s in finance/accounting; MBA/CFA/CPA preferred; 8+ years in Treasury/Capital Markets and prior people-management experience; proficiency in financial modeling and Excel/PowerPoint; hybrid work arrangement in Wilmington, DE.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
- MBA, CFA, and/or CPA preferred
- 8+ years of progressive Treasury or Capital Markets experience
- Prior people-management experience required
- Experience operating in or transitioning to a high-yield credit environment preferred
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- High standards of integrity, judgment, and professionalism
