Job Summary
Lead a team to deliver cross-functional execution of divisions' programs, ensuring product portfolio prioritization and alignment of budget, AOP, and financial objectives. Manage and develop individual employees and managers while tracking and adjusting OPEX spending to meet project plans. Drive division-level COGS reduction plans and ePLCs to achieve gross margin, lead-time, and cycle time targets. Coordinate business continuity planning, crisis management, and safety compliance, including lab safety practices. Support enhanced product lifecycle project operational deliverables and develop cross-divisional programs. Partner with Division GM and staff to execute key non-technical programs, potentially serving as chief of staff. Apply broad industry and commercial awareness to drive financial and operational performance across the business unit.
Required Qualifications
- Lead team to deliver cross-functional execution of divisions' programs to meet and exceed objectives and financial goals
- Manage and develop individual employees and may manage managers
- Ensure product portfolio prioritization within a division and align budget
- Track and adjust OPEX (operating expense) spending in alignment with project plans and spending targets
- Ensure that AOP, financial and product objectives are met
- Responsible for business process creation and continuous improvement within the BU
- Manage and drive division COGS (cost of goods sold) reduction plans and ePLCs to deliver GM (gross margin), lead-time and cycle time targets
- Drive division level coordination of business continuity planning, crisis management, and safety compliance including lab safety practices
- Ensure all ePLC (enhanced product lifecycle) project operational deliverables are supported and completed
- Partner with Division GM and Staff to execute key non-technical programs
- May serve as chief of staff
- Develop and drive cross-divisional and cross-functional programs
- Demonstrates broad and comprehensive understanding of different systems, theories and practices
- Applies broad industry and commercial awareness to drive financial and operational performance across business unit, department or sub-functions
- Leads through subordinate managers of managers; executes segment/functional business plans and contributes to the development of segment/functional strategy
- Directs the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems applying advanced analytical thought and judgment
- Guided by segment/functional strategy, impacts results of a department, business unit or sub-function or facilitates the work done by other segments/functions by providing support to impact the business
- Negotiates and influences the opinions of others at the senior executive level and in external organizations
- Exercises sensitivity to the audience
